Replacement band for the new V3 wristband (Does not include the Tap2Tag plate)

£9.99

sku: UK-MA-WB-V3-BLACK-REP

Availability: In stock

ATTENTION

This is a replacement band, this does not include the Tap2Tag plate used to scan medical information. (This is recommended for those who may have cut the initial band too short or need a larger size.)

Sizes

Our Version 3 wristband now has the added benefit of an adjustable strap making it easier to size. The adjustable strap will fit a wrist with a circumference from 141mm to 240mm. Watch our video on how our adjustable wristband works.

Colours

As Henry Ford is alleged to have said "You can have any colour as long as it is black". Our first band in this new format only comes in black, which is our most popular colour.

Material

The wristband is made from a silicone rubber composite along with a zinc/nickel alloy composite plate (with epoxy resin protecting the printing on the face of the plate) This wristband is not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy or zinc/nickel allergy

Durability

The wristbands are tough, really tough.  We have taken a wristband diving in the Red Sea to a depth of 30 metres.  They worked first time when we arrived back on the dive boat.  Hence they are waterproof!  We have passed the wristband through a medical autoclave reaching temperatures of 135C.  Again they worked first time.  In fact we have run the same wristband through the autoclave10 times and the device continued to work.  We have driven over the wrist band in a car, boiled it in water, frozen it in a block of ice and shouted abusive at it too.  Each time it has come through with flying colours.

Suggested uses

Anyone with a medical condition, allergy or who may need to advise healthcare professionals of particular medications they are taking should consider wearing a wristband.  However anyone undertaking a sport (subject to the regulations of that sport) should consider whether the use of a Tap2Tag Medical would assist paramedics in the event of an emergency.  Details such as your full name, address and emergency contacts may be stored on the device even if you have no known medical problems.  We have considered many possible uses of the devices including those who

  • have allergies to
    • nuts
    • penicillin
    • bee stings...and more
  • have a medical condition such as
    • having a pacemaker
